DB Projects delivered the design and fitout of Mapo Gelato’s Bondi Beach store, marking the brand’s expansion following the success of its first Sydneylocation in Newtown.
Founded by owner-operator Matteo Pochintesta, Mapo Gelato quickly built a loyal following for its organic gelato made using local, fresh ingredients,
gaining widespread recognition across publications including Broadsheet and Time Out.
DB Projects collaborated closely with the client to translate the Mapo brand into a new store at one of Australia’s most iconic beachside locations. Completed in 2021, the Bondi store delivers a bold, welcoming hospitality environment that reflects Mapo’s values while capturing strong street presencein a high-foot-traffic setting.
