Mapo Gelatos first store opened in 2018 in Newtown, Sydney. Owner-operator Matteo Pochintesta’s vision to produce organic gelato using local raw and fresh ingredients won him an instant fanbase and had the Press doing write-ups that included Broadsheet and Timeout.

Matteo came to DB Projects with his vision for a new store at the iconic location Bondi Beaches. A fantastic collaboration was formed and in 2021 Mapo Bondi was born!
